Our Paros Sailing Cruise
We booked this small-group sailing excursion from Paros to Naxos. Enjoy the whole day on the water on this sailing cruise we booked through Viator. We left out of Paros, then sailed around AntiParos and stopped at a WW2 wreckage site. You stop to jump in, swim, & snorkel in the Aegean Sea. Don't worry about packing snacks, they'll also provide drinks, local wines, and lunch was fish grilled right on the boat. It's semi-private, but we shared the boat with a Dutch family, a Br

Country #24 Netherlands
(Or where everyone always visits, the infamous Amsterdam) One of my top highlights was the Van Gosh museum! There's much more culture, art and history to Amsterdam than just the nightlife and the "Red Light District", which is an experience in and of itself. The Ann Frank Haus is another must-see while in Amsterdam. To see where their family hid in such a small space, it's truly eye-opening. The picture below is the bookcase Ann Frank and her family used to access their hidin

Country #25 Norway
Seaside markets, fresh fish sold right at the marina steps away from the boat it was just caught on. Mussels, shrimp kebabs, paellas, lots of options in this open market. As a seafood lover, this was one of my favorite foodie spots. The people were all very friendly and the great thing about many Scandinavian countries is that they're taught English starting in elementary school. Knowing tourism boosts economies and their native language may not be widely spoken, they learn o

Country #26 Denmark
Denmark is the happiest people on earth right?! We definitely thought so when we visited. Seated next to a Dutch family, they were as kind and normal as ever as we struck up a conversation while enjoying our food in an open-air food market. I still remember this day vividly and this experience definitely shaped my love for markets & food halls. Copenhagen has the coolest vibe to it-- Canals, Nyhavn harbor, & the iconic Little Mermaid statue. You can rent bikes to ride while y

Not All Travel Lounges are Created Equal
Sky lounges I'd recommend and others I’d skip…. CFP-CFP-Next2026Next2026 Starting with the Priority Pass , through the Capital One Venture X card: CFP-Next2026Cf Munich (MUC) , By far my favorite in Europe! (Except KLM, they're up there too) Killing a 2 hour layover on our way home from a wedding in Lake Como last summer, in a gorgeous lounge with good food, coffee, soda, complete with a charcuterie & spritz bar - this lounge made waiting at the airport feel like a dream. Country #27 Mexico
Favorite City: Puerto Vallarta Most Touristy: Cancun Would Visit Next: Tulum Beautiful beach destinations. Instagram-worthy meals on a budget. Ease of all-inclusive. book it & forget it! The U.S. Department of State recently advised exercising increased caution ( Level 2 ) in Mexico due to crime, kidnapping, and potential terrorism, as of August 2025. Keep that in mind. Always notify the US Embassy when you're travelling outside the country. When I went in 2017 and 2018, we

Country # 28 Luxembourg
We spent time in Luxembourg on a day trip driving from Geneva, Swizterland. While there, we visited Notre Dame Cathedral My favorite was walking under the butterfly bridge in the city center, Ville Haute. It's a great Instagram photo-op!! We had lunch in the square of Place d'Armes, surrounded by beautiful hisotric churches followed by modern coffee shops, then department stores as you get closer to the city. Europe always has so much history packed into it! Monument nationa

Country # 29 Colombia
I already know I’m going to take heat for this one! To my Colombian besties, I love you but this was 1st and only trip to Colombia, so this is my honest experience based on where & when I visited. I was lucky enough to go for one of my very best friend’s wedding. The highlight of my trip was hands down seeing 20 of my college friends, many who I hadn’t seen in years, reunited together in South America. You have to take a ride on their Colombian party buses , known as Chivas R

The Worst Travel Experience of my LIFE
It just so happened to be this past summer 1 month after starting this passion project travel blog.... Proof it can happen anytime in your travel journey, and a reminder of why I can understand there are some people who might not enjoy traveling as much as I do. A lesson I learned the hard way… Always keep your medications & essentials on you, not your checked bag, in case your suitcase does get lost or delayed. Flying Delta from a wedding in Cali to Charles de Gaulle in Pari

Country #30: FRANCE
Country #30: France 🇫🇷 I’ve been to France three times. And that’s exactly why it landed here. Each visit taught me something different—but I realized I connect far more with the French countryside than with the cities. The slower pace, the quiet, the in-between moments… that’s where France came alive for me. The cities, on the other hand, never quite lived up to expectations. This list isn’t about writing places off.It ’s about noticing where you actually feel at home when

30 by 30 countdown starts... NOW
I set a goal was to visit 30 countries by the time I turned 30 years old. At 28, I’ve visited 30 countries so far—some for weeks, some for days, some by careful planning, others by pure chaos. My mom and I like to joke that we have the “bug” as in the "travel bug" . She had it and I’ve definitely caught it! I was fortunate to travel with my mom growing up, island hop with my dad and truthfully, will travel abroad any chance I get! As someone who loves to travel, the question

9 Countries in 10 Days
My stepdad ingeniuously planned this trip with 9 countries in 10 days, all based around a Coldplay concert in Bucharest, Romania. We were all booked and ready to go, but unfortunately couldn't make it because of health-related issues, so I can't take credit for the itinerary, but it was too good not to share. We shortened our 2024 trip to Croatia and England but this is definitely on my bucketlist for the future... If you end up using the itinerary, let me know what you think

Where to Have Afternoon Tea on your next trip to London?
Hands down my favorite thing about London is TEA TIME. There is nothing quite like it in the states! The selection of teas, not to mention the unlimited refills. Went into the archives to find all the recommendations I could for our day trip to Lake Geneva <3 Switzerland is also a day-trip away from Lake Como, if you find yourself there... we stumbled into a few beautiful churches, including this Lunch overlooking Lake Geneva And it wouldn't be complete without a ride on the carousel!! Delta One Lounge LAX
I may or may not have sweet talked my way into LAX's Delta One Lounge. One of only 4 in the world, it might be the most gorgeous lounge I've ever laid eyes on (except maybe KLM in Amsterdam). Have you ever gotten a massage at the airport? It'll change your LIFE. Delta One Lounge offers a 15 minute massage featuring a fully reclining, zero - gravity chair. Full privacy curtains, dimmed lights, and a relaxing soundtrack of your choice create the perfect environment to relax

Monterosso al Mare
One of the 5 villages of Cinque Terre, Monterosso al Mare is a coastal gem that's known for being the less popular Amalfi coast. You get to experience the coastal beaches of Italy at a lower cost and a less-travelled destination. One of the days of our trip, we rented chairs and umbrellas and lounged in the Italian sun. So many friends told me this was their absolute FAVORITE destination of all their travels & I can now see why! Maria and I became anchoive conosseirus on th

5 Essentials I Never Travel Without
& i mean never.... TSA Pre / Global Entry : This is the top of my list because it’s a serious game changer. I encourage anyone traveling internationally once a year (or even every other year), to splurge on Global Entry. For an extra $20 you can breeze past the customs line coming back into the U.S. TSA Pre is included with Global Entry so you still get all the perks like keeping your shoes on. (Hands down the best part! You can’t convince me otherwise) I first applied for
