If you find yourself in central Switzerland, add Interlaken to your itinerary. For the outdoor lovers, there's paragliding, hiking, and Interlaken itself is located between 2 lakes: Lake Brienz and Lake Thun.
I didn't spend a night in Interlaken, but a friend stayed in a hostel in Interlaken. They specifically chose it because there was a club attached to the hostel. You can take public transit or drive 15 minutes to Lake Brienz has beautiful hiking trials as well. The water there is even tastier - like noticably clean water fountains. Swiss Alp runoff maybe?!
They even have a Hooter's in Interlaken, if you're missing home while enjoying your Euro summer! Europe is much more Westernized than other continents.

Highly recommend a swiss chocolate making class as well. And you can't forget fondue!
We took a day-trip to Geneva, Swizterland. You can have lunch overlooking Lake Geneva, do some window shopping, take a ride on the ferris wheel, and explore the cobblestone streets of this historic town.
