Seaside markets, fresh fish sold right at the marina steps away from the boat it was just caught on. Mussels, shrimp kebabs, paellas, lots of options in this open market. As a seafood lover, this was one of my favorite foodie spots.

The people were all very friendly and the great thing about many Scandinavian countries is that they're taught English starting in elementary school. Knowing tourism boosts economies and their native language may not be widely spoken, they learn other lanugauges in an effort to communciate. Norway is beautiful. Loved my time here!

Fun fact: My mom & stepdad always took me to art museums when we travelled. As a teenager, I would eventually get bored (like here in Bergen, Norway) but looking back I'm so grateful they did!! Now I absolutely love art museums.
