The ICEBAR is located in the ICEHOTEL in Stockholm, Sweden. It was built in 2002 and is the first permanent bar to be made of ice.

The room is kept at 19 degrees Farenheit. Before entering, you are given a special coat and gloves to keep you warm. The visit only lasts about 40 minutes, but your hands will still end up feeling numb by the end despite your thermal gloves.

When you walk in, vibrant colors light up the room. There are ice sculptures, including this bear, that can be admired by visitors as well as stories carved into the ice walls.

Everything in the room is made of ice: the walls, the seats, even the glasses you drink out of. I can only imagine how the bartender feels working in a room that's below freezing.

With your visit, you are also given two drink choices. I would recommend the Hooded Crow. The apple and cinnamon tastes like you’re drinking an apple pie!
